LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group

An inclusive environment where LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers can seek support without fear of judgment or discrimination, with separate sessions for youth and caregivers.

Inclusive Space

Our support group offers an inclusive environment where LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers can freely express themselves, share their stories, and seek support without fear of judgment or discrimination. We foster an atmosphere of acceptance, respect, and confidentiality, ensuring that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Peer Support

We believe in the power of peer connections. Our support group brings together LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers who understand the unique experiences and challenges of navigating gender and sexual identities. Through shared stories, advice, and empathy, participants can find comfort, validation, and a sense of belonging within a community that understands their journey.

Youth and Caregiver-Focused Sessions

We recognize the distinct needs and perspectives of both LGBTQ+ youth and their caregivers. To provide targeted support, we offer separate support group sessions for youth and caregivers. This approach allows for open discussions, sharing of experiences, and the opportunity to address specific concerns within each group.

Facilitated Sessions

Our support group sessions are facilitated by staff. Our facilitators create a nurturing space where participants can engage in meaningful conversations, explore their identities, and develop coping strategies to navigate the challenges they may face.

Resources and Education

In addition to peer support, we provide educational resources and materials to help LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers deepen their understanding of LGBTQ+ identities, rights, mental health, and community resources. We strive to empower individuals with knowledge and tools to navigate their journeys confidently.
