Every program below is part of the Alliance for Community Transformations — same staff, same services, now on one website. Based in Mariposa and Merced Counties, these programs help us achieve our mission, and every crisis service is free and confidential.
Crisis services · Mariposa
Domestic violence and sexual assault services: 24-hour hotline, pet-friendly emergency safe house, transitional housing, counseling, and legal advocacy. Our founding program, serving Mariposa County since 1990.
Crisis services · Merced
Free, confidential services for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking: crisis line, confidential safe house, counseling, support groups, SART exams, and legal advocacy. Office in Merced.
Children & youth · Mariposa
Court Appointed Special Advocates: trained volunteers who represent the best interests of children in foster care — plus RECESS respite childcare, the Nourish caregiver group, and the Little Wishes Fund.
Recovery & housing · Mariposa
A free drop-in recovery support center: daily hot meals, showers, laundry, housing and healthcare navigation, peer counseling, recovery coaching, a food pantry, and court-sanctioned classes.
Families · Mariposa
Nurturing Parenting and childbirth education classes; peer support groups for grief, LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers, and disaster recovery; and family enrichment activities.
